SXM Transfer Questions

St Barth Services. Highly recommend. Many years of service and help when needed.
Totally agree!
We have used St. Barth Services since their inception, and they never disappoint.
When we are leaving SBH:
•They pick up our luggage, fill out all the
paperwork.
•No lines to check-in @SBH airport
•Escort onto plane
•Staff waiting upon arrival @SXM
•Escort thru customs
•Picks up luggage and brings it to
airlines for check-in
•VIP waiting room until time for boarding
•Escort to flight

Where is the St Barth Services VIP waiting room in SXM? When leaving SBH when do they return your passports? In SBH or upon landing in SXM?

I don’t think that there is one at the moment. In the past they likely used the Soualiga Business Class Lounge, which doesn’t presently exist.

•Not sure where the VIP waiting room is while you wait for your flight home since the terminal in still in such disarray. One of their reps will escort you inside.

•Your passports will be returned as soon as you get to their counter in the SBH Airport.

I would really recommend that you do carry on only - I made the mistake of checking in a bag and it cost us an hour as you now have to exit and enter the airport.

My advice for you is to do CARRY ON only AND PRINT the WinAir boarding passes. We went through this process on December 7th and I do not think you need the service UNLESS you check a bag in.

I am a long time visitor to St Barth having traveled there about 30 times over the last 25 years. The last time I was there was in 2016 prior to the hurricane damage. I will be returning on Monday 11/25. Due to JetBlues new schedule we are supposed to arrive at 3:18. Our Winair flight is at 5:15. Normally that would not be an issue for me. Recently Winair advised a 3 hour window to transit the airport. In the past I have never considered using a service to shepherd me through SXM, but this year I am really giving it some serious thought. I am not completely clear on the current airport layout or the transfer procedures. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has been through the airport recently with carry on only and anyone's thoughts on using Premium 4. Not too concerned about returning as we will be on a 12:00 St Barth Commuter and a 4:30 JetBlue departure.

Cheers..
