SPEEDY NEMO WINNER OF THE TRISKELL CUP
by A.H. 14/11/2019
Photo> The local crew shared their joy at receiving the cup with our colleague Rosemond Gréaux, sports correspondent of the St Barth Journal, present for the event.

Raymond Magras's boat Speedy Nemo participated last weekend at the Triskell Cup, at Gosier in Guadeloupe, with ten other boats. At the end of the three days of racing and six races, Speedy Nemo skippered by Patrick Bernier wins in front of Guadeloupe's Bonda Manjak (Frédéric Lemaire). Interviewed by our colleagues from France Antilles, Patrick Bernier comments on his victory. "The race went very well, we had a good race, the crew was very good. It was a beautiful course, quite long and very technical. It was very intense and you had to give everything to widen the gap and get that win. We had heard a lot about Triskell. It had been a few years since it existed but for a year we had new partners in Guadeloupe and it was very good. We are here for the renewal of the competition and we will try to come back next year if the partners still follow. "

So very great that the team would go by to see Rosemond . . . who's looking stronger in every new picture.

I am currently in Vegas, and as those of you who follow our blog on Caring Bridge know, Rosemond is in Guadeloupe with his brother Bruno.. who got him to walk from the bed to the bathroom yesterday with no leg brace and no cane.. just a good strong arm to lean on.. so he is making progress every day... a million thanks again and again to everyone on the forum who has been so supportive since May!

What a long strange trip it has been. But we are taking it with both of you,
one day at a time, one step at a time. Hugs.

We pray each day for you, Rosemond and your family, Ellen. The Caring Bridge blog is a great way to keep everyone informed of Rosemond’s progress. Thanks for keeping it up.

Such a heartwarming photo of Rosie and his friends/family! May the steady progress continue. We continue to pray that his full health will be restored and with such terrific support from friends and family (and Rosie's great attitude) that should be soon!
