Often when an author adds another name to his/her writing, the novels go downhill. Kellerman is better on his own. The new novels that continue the series by Vince Flynn are not very good. Patterson has many co- authors that are hits and misses. I worried when Nelson added Alex. I shouldn’t have. This book turned out to be one of the best in fiction for 2019 thus far. We lived in Venezuela in the 80s and the DeMilles brought back many memories of a once beautiful country, ample in resources and a great climate. The writing style flows so easily that 530 pages are quickly devoured. Be prepared for a fun escape while sipping a Mojito, or a glass of Rose, enjoying the warmth of our favorite island.
