BAZ BAR IS BACK!

Senior Insider
After noticing daytime work and activity at Baz, we were happy to show up for Jean-Marc's opening night. We sat outside enjoying after dinner digestifs and watching the boats gently swaying in the harbor. Ahh, St Barths!

The amiable staff is new, the reliable kitchen crew is the same, and the host was grinning and so happy to be back. Wishing them another successful year in Gustavia.

The sushi platters all looked divine.

“Grinning host” & “gently swaying” boats bring back happy memories of being at Baz Bar. Jean Marc has deservedly established BAZ as a legendary landmark on SBH . . . not an easy task in a landscape of ever-changing restaurants & proprietors.

I was grinning and swaying while reading Amy's review. Very happy to hear that Baz and Jean Marc are off to a great start!

I wonder if they will have live music this year?

Some, but not as much as in some past years.

From the Baz Bar webpage:

[h=2]The Singer Songwriter Series[/h] Baz Bar is excited to announce its new “Singer Songwriter Series” for which two lead singers or musicians meet for a week to perform each others repertoire of original and cover songs in an intimate and nearly unplugged setting. For these concerts we will keep the doors open on Sundays or announce alternative secret venues through our social media channels and our newsletter.
As usual we will celebrate Christmas, New Year and The Bucket Regatta week with our favorite bands and for the 70th birthday of Le Select we invited “Nothing but Sunshine” a great trio from Nashville that already played at Le Select’s 50th and 60th anniversary.
