Great news ! Prior to discovering SBH, we rented homes & boats at Elbow Cay, so laid back, lovely beaches, great snorkeling, sea glass, deepsea fishing, going from cay to cay in the rented Whaler, just not many restaurants. Friendly people who made you feel welcome just like those on SBH. Praying for their recovery.

Are they a member nation of the United Nations? Can the UN send troops and supplies for the people in the Bahamas?

Does not seem to be a worldwide aid effort being assembled for that devastated island. Am I just missing news of help?

UK Navy is on the ground. US Coast Guard is evacuating medical cases. I don't know about others.
