Wow...that’s a lot of turtles! I believe a group of turtles like that is termed a “bale”. Nice shots, KZ!
 
These copies, attached in a different manner, will be easier to see. That's a lot of turtles!

A word of advice to all - give some thought to just where you feed turtles. I've had a turtle (never fed close to the villa on my watch) wander inside and leave a large "present". Twice in two days.
 
Not to put too fine a point on it....but they are actually tortoises. The term “turtle” encompasses tortoises but is broader to include those that live in water. Tortoises live on land.

My most successful bale bait is fruit slices. They first came for water, and then of course I felt the need to supplement.

What are you feeding them that they love so much?

Sharon has been slicing up apples for them. Apples are high in fiber and low in sugar. They have a lot of moisture as well. Turtles seem to dig it. There are some unintended consequences. A turtle orgy usually follows dinner.
