Since R. B. Parker has passed away, is this an old book or an as told by book by some new author? I loved his style and miss him and his references to the American Songbook and his dog, Pearl. A very real guy, Spenser and his sidekick Hawk (any relation?)

Different Parker. I think you would enjoy. I found it on Amazon and got it at the local Library.

A little snooping. Same Parker but a stand alone book circa ..1979. Not a Spenser story.
