Dennis - here is a good example of why scat brings Ella to mind... and another good example of Ella joined by another great scat singer.

To return to St Barth programming via Slim performing a French composer's work, and something from Slim that may conjure up the needed (rhythmic) rain storm...

Marvelous, Izzy! The "good example" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFclKdniaDk&app=desktop) is stunning . . . enjoyed it so much. "Another good example" ([FONT=&quot]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z7iZecm5qg[/FONT]) is great (only Mel Torme could do it -- white men CAN skat!). And St. Barth programming is wonderful . . . particularly https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qrcZqnICYbs -- I imagine that it's something like dancing & music of a modern generation that I don't know. It, nevertheless, is wonderful. Thanks for the extraordinary walk through such great music and dance.

DWTX - Just by way of introduction, we spend a lot of time with family in Gun Barrel, "hill country," & Dallas.

Many visits to SBH. Overpacked, overplanned & overthought the first few trips to SBH.
