First time visit because we were a little reluctant due to the environmental impact from the construction. We always enjoyed a long languid lunch at Tamarin and the Beach Club has taken it’s place. Great setting, amazing food and superior service.

Thank you for the recommendation Steve. Going to try it next month, already made a reservation.

Our favorite beach restaurant on the island is Pearl Beach which is where Tom Beach was. Le Toiny is beautiful- the ride down in the jeep is fun and they have a nice gift shop and pool. Ocean swimming is at your own risk there. Ask for a beach side table when you make your reservation. And enjoy!

We had lunch for the first time at Toiny Beach Club this past March and loved it. Next March we are renting a villa very close to the hotel and I am thinking that the Beach Club will be our lazy go-to lunch and beach lounging spot! I do hope they expand the menu up at the hotel for dinner however. The dining room and staff are so lovely but the menu is very limited, unlike the menu down at the beach club.

We enjoyed our first lunch at the beach club last month also. Gary (pictured with our dear friend, Tran) had the ribs and I had the lobster....both excellent. Wait staff was on point and the view was lovely! A long, lazy afternoon...tres bien!!

If you build it, they will come...

8/31/15:
... If the island starts permitting restaurants and their accompanying toilets and 'accouterments' to be constructed on each of its pristine beaches, it will no longer be paradise. Should Gouverneur have an outpost of Maya's? How about La Gloriette putting up a bunch of outhouses and barbecue shacks on Saline? Needless to say- if we had a vote, which we do not, keep the development up the hill and off of the pristine beach. Le Toiny beach is wild, windy, wavy and fun as it is.

We took a dip in the water after our lunch the other day and it was very calm...a great way to end our luscious afternoon.

The day we were last week waitress said we could sit in beach lounges for 30 euros each...but we could have had free access to pool but no chairs by pool.
We sat on lovely couches in the breeze after lunch Steve having cigar and we both enjoyed their rum shots..
Looked like only people on beach chairs were hotel guests..
