C.J. Box/ Joe Pickett

Have read and enjoyed all of the Joe Picket novels. Just picked up Shots Fired; Stories from Joe Pickett Country. Excellent series about a game warden who can't turn his back to any type of evil or lawbreaking.

I highly recommend him as well. one of the select few writers who have been able to use the same set of characters over and over again and make each book just as good as the last. I am currently reading his most recent " wolf pack" and so far it does not depart from his wonderful style and readability!!

We have read the entire series, including Wolf Pack and have enjoyed all of them.
Also Kevin, we have read each of the new Baldacci, Grisham, Deaver, and Cross/Patterson novels and all are good ‘island’ reads! We also like the inane Stuart Woods stories. Neon Prey is a Vegas based story and Lucas gets the job done from Sandford.
