Will the crowds let up after Easter and the Regatta?

I have never seen the island so crowded especially Gouvenour's beach with the camping and I have often visited near Christmas time.

Do you think the crowds will be smaller this coming week?

Watching the many departing aircraft, I suspect that many Americans are leaving. After tomorrow there will be no campers left on the beach.

Do the Americans bring camping equipment such as sleeping bags etc. to the island? Are they allowed to have campfires at the beaches as we have never seen them except for Vaval.

As someone who celebrates Easter I couldn't imagine flying out on that day hence my confusion. Were it a spring break trip leaving Sunday I would be confused.
Are the crowds because Easter week happened to fall on the same week as the Regatta?

In part, yes. Le Chris was owed a race team. So was much if not all<of the Manapay. Plus many US families come at Easter, probably due to school breal schedules. For example, MA was on break last week, and NH and I think ME are on break this week.
