She has done it again!...if you liked "Lilac Girls", you will enjoy her latest book. In her research for LG, the author became intrigued by Eliza Ferriday, Caroline's mother. She developed her plot using the true story of Eliza's efforts to help Russian aristocrats fleeing the Bolsheviks during WWI. Suspenseful throughout, the book follows a similar pattern as LG did, using three women to portray the tale. Nice work, Ms Kelly!

I have it on order...thanks Julianne. We do seem to like the same authors and genres with reading likes all over the place. Lately, I am in to WWII tales and of course, anything Paris.

Amy—-You might enjoy “The Light Over London” by Julia Kelly. It spans two generations and has all the right ingredients—-family secrets, a diary, and, of course, a wartime romance.

Thanks for this tip too, Julianne. Now loving “The only woman in the room” by Benedict. The amazing story of Hedy Lamar, actress and inventor!
