PAT LaFREDA MEATS -- WHO KNEW?

I love hamburgers and usually compare them when we are in St Barth by eating as many of them as I can. This year it appears that a purveyor of hgh dollar meats has sent a sales staff to try to establish its brand on the island. As of lunch today I have enjoyed eight burgers, at least five of them with “artisanal burger patties” provided by a third generation family-owned and operated company called Pat LaFreda Meats of North Bergen, New Jersey. Does anyone know about this company? I’ve eaten burgers for nearly 70 years and have never heard of it! Give us your info. (Wiki is not fair.)

By the way. If you want to see what promotion can do, take a look at the menu for Christo, the Christopher Hotel’s evening restaurant.

To the engineer the glass is simply too big.

Pat LaFrieda products have been on the island for a while. Their burgers used to be sold at La Gloriette and were on the menu at Jojo Burger the last time that I checked.
