Hi everyone!
We are flying to SXM tomorrow with a Jetblue flight from JFK, no luggages but 1 carry on only since is is a quick 4 days trip :) We bought a separate flight from SXM to St Barth with Winair and I was wondering if anyone can give us more infos on what is the route from the landing gate of Jetblue to the departure gate of Winair. We are european, travelling with european passport but arriving from a US Flight and with no luggages.
Thanks :pray1:

We made that trip yesterday, and it was smooth as silk. The airport was severely damaged by Irma and is still not back to normal operation, so here is the drill;

Once you land, the plane will taxi to a parking area, and you will be bused to the terminal. Once inside, there will be signs [follow the in transit sign] and go through immigration. You won't need to claim your luggage, so again follow the in transit signs and go through security. You are then in the departure area, so find your Winair gate and check in. It's always a good idea to ask the Winair rep if you can get on an earlier flight.

We used St Barth Commuter, and everyone who was supposed to be on our flight actually came in with us on JetBlue, so as soon as everyone was ready, off we went. In total , we spent about 20 minutes in the St Maarten airport.

Have a safe trip. You are coming to St Barth at what we consider to be the best time of the year; the Bucket.

Enjoy.

Phil

We have 1 hour and 5 minutes from landing to departing so I guess we have enough time! Thanks Phil, for all the infos! Cant wait to be there :)
