I love the morning doves on St. Barth! Being out on the pool deck in the early morning with my café and mimosa - or any time of day, listening to their peaceful song and cooing does much for my soul! I could listen for hours...

Last year at OUR villa, there were a couple who would wake my husband every morning ! and he discovered a young one (just learning to fly) sitting in one of the pots with greenery by the pool fence, near the steps to ground level. I love the lovey doveys !

Is that a Red tailed hawk?!?! (don't have my field guide with me, and I'm surprised to see a big bird like that, what ever it is!)

Ditto for us! The doves are at the Villa we stay at every day making happy sounds, sipping the water and we hope smiling!
