Ouanalao is alive and well on the island!

Some of you may have been lucky enough to see the books by Ed Gudenas with photos of the island. On pages 29 and 30 of his St. Barth Souvenirs are pictures of the band that often plays together in the little room right on the water next to Master Ski Pilou. They don’t play for an audience or pay- just for the love of it. There was Bruno in the same spot and chair , strumming his guitar with the rest of the band. Both sides of the room were open with the wind blowing through and the music wafting out through the night air. Live music was in the distance from Baz and Bagatelle was brimming over with music and disco lights. The moon lit up the water and Venus soon to make its nightly appearance. Love or Ouanalao was truly in the air on Valentines night in Gustavia!

We too have passed by that house as the the Romantics(?) are playing away...we slow and stop, listen, and move on and say Ahh, St Barths!
