AN ANONYMOUS GIRL by Hendricks and Pakkennan

OK, for those who like psychological thrillers, I have a book for you. As I turned the pages I kept asking myself why I was voluntarily stopping my heartbeat every other chapter. Laid up with a cold, so this was my exercise for the last two days.

A struggling New York single with secrets of her own joins up for a “study.” She will answer questions honestly, be paid, and if she is a good candidate, more sessions will follow. The honestly is the hardest part and I really didn’t want to stick with it, but I am now not sorry I did. Honestly, it was pretty gripping.

As you know, Amy, my Sofia LOVES psychological thrillers and she reads books far outside what her 12 year old peers read; is this something appropriate for her?

Hold off on this one. By all means, you or Sarah can read it first and vote on her ability to deal with it.
