    Santa Fe Dinner January 10th

I have read some stories about the valet parking at Santa Fe. Well, first hand reporting, when we arrived, it was the typical, have guests on the passenger side get out of the car first while the driver hops the sidewalk curb and hugs the stone wall closely. That is what we did last night, so there you have the update on valet parking.
We were warmly greeted by David and his staff. The weather was absolutely perfect. After giving Amy and Phil hugs and handshakes, they were already seated at another table, we settled in and ordered wine and cocktails for all. Mixologist was sporting a new stylish do, noticed that man buns has become less the popular on the Island, mullets are in. Orders for dinner ranged from Lobster salads, Caesar salads, Filet with bearnaise sauce, Duck with maple sauce, grilled Lobster and my Santa Fe favorite Octopus. Everything was exceptional with the entire evening, which is why, we always have Santa Fe on our rotation each vacation. The end of another glorious day in Paradise. Today is breakfast at Les Jardins followed by diving at 9:30. Have not received the daily specials from Andy, as yet, so we can vote where to eat lunch. Slept again outside under the stars, last night might have been the best ever. Stars were crystal clear. The sun has risen on another fabulous day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad!

Sorry about any confusion. The valet parking is at lunch service. Much traffic and poor visibility were the impetus. At night, the headlights of moving cars make it easier to drive, to see and be seen, and of course no trucks filling the roadways.

There's good news on the truck front. Per Le Journal, as of January 1 the largest trucks (those more than 7m long, 2.42m wide, or 15.4 US tons GVW) are restricted to the commercial area of Public.

Parking on the curb is always the way we 'valet' park at Santa Fe! Great news David is on his game. He is bringing in a large tv for Super Bowl night and party. Told us that several weeks ago. Reservations need to be made now if it isn't already too late. Go COLTS!

Yes, it is a good courtesy so they can have proper staff available. Friday is their moule frites, mussels and French fries,special...for sure reserve a spot if you are going for this dish.

Had lunch yesterday and called 1.5 hours before for a 1:30 lunch. We were warmly welcomed as were other walk-ins after we arrived.
