Metéo France has posted wind warnings for ENE winds averaging 40kph (25mph). The duration of the warning is unclear, as it is listed as ending at 17:00 on Saturday 30 December... but Saturday is the 29th... Gusts of 60-65mph have been recorded in Gustavia this morning, with sustained winds of 35-40mph over a 10-minute period.

this morning was quite something, pouring lashing rain and high winds.. seems to have settled down but the island is on yellow alert for rain and wind, as Kevin notes...

According to Marine Traffic, the quai is still occupied, and there’s a nice crowd gathering outside.

65 mph is serious business! Even too strong for sailing! Not fun! Glad the big boats did not have to leave the harbor!
