Phase 1 of SXM Roof Repair Complete

Great news!

If the interior can be cleaned and repaired before season it should help the tourism of the surrounding islands. I admit I was surprised to see 2 cruise ships in port in SXM 10 days ago.

We could see cruise ships during the last 2 wks of May when we were in villa in Lurin, 2 wks ago while on Antigua we were told that 2 ships in there one day...odd to see late in season either island. Will probably fly in/out of SXM for next trip, via MIA with return via CLT on AA. Said I'd never go thru MIA again, but choices from SAV ltd. Now to look at that picture !

It is going to take a lot of time but little by little, the ravages of Irma will be overcome- maybe a shirt "Caribbean Strong" is needed!
