What a great recommendation from Steve and Amy for Hotel Le Villages. Loved the accommodations and they even upgraded us because of you two. We had the best time. Bertran and the other staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. Easy to get to and a wonderful morning view of St. Jean bay. Plus the weather was in our top 3 of all time. Sadly Emaruade Plage might be in a state of flux so it looks like Cheryl and I have found a new home. Thanks again

So happy to hear that you loved Le Village.....and glad you got that upgrade....that place has been our special piece of heaven for a good many years and the Charneau family and their loyal staff make us feel like we are home.....hopefully you have found a new home also..!!!!
Hoping you got to meet Bamboo, a stray dog who latched on to us years ago and Catherine ended up adopting him....he is getting on in his years...

Thanks. We had just visited the room and were taking in the beautiful scenery when Bamboo walked up, sniffed us and promptly laid down to sleep. We fell in love with the ambiance! Thanks so much

We stayed at Eden Rock and Le Toiny on our ten day honeymoon back in 2007. They were great. But we spent almost all of our waking hours outside the room and resort visiting beaches and other places on the island and felt like we really did not need to spend that much on rooms. When we came back in 2010, on advice of this forum, we stayed at Le Village, and thought we got a ton of bang for our buck (with a great view). Now when we return we are with our kids, so we do the villa. But I always highly recommend Le Village to couples coming to the island.

Le Village does have 2 larger villas that can accommodate children one is what we rent and have had our extended family stay in both...
