So much happy news of reopening Le Toiny and Sereno- any news on Cheval Blanc and Île de France?? It is one of our favorite lunch spots. It took a huge hit from the beach erosion and wind. The scene in February was dismal.

We were on Flamands and went close up in February. Thay may have taken the biggest hit of all the Hotels.

We walked by it in February and it was in terrible shape with what appeared to be no work being done. Glad to see there is now. Hope it's open by our Feb 2019 trip. This was where we spent the day on our first visit to the island. It's a special place.

I emailed the Cheval Blanc last week to inquire about pricing. We stayed there in Feb of 2017. The same room we rented in 2017 has gone up by 1,300 Euro a night (+70%) Lucky them if they can get an increase like that. Unfortunately we'll be looking for alternative accommodations this year. Very sad as we loved our stay there!
