NATCHEZ BURNING by Greg Isles

This is book one, a big book, of a Trilogy. If you are in for the cold and for a long spell you can get into a terrific read about the South, civil rights, and KKK and all the cliches. But the characters are so real. The writing is outstanding...Isles has skills.

By the way, I read #2 in this trilogy, THE BONE TREE, about a year or so ago. That did not ruin this well told tale one iota. Keep warm and enjoy.
