Headed into quiet Gustavia for a light dinner at La Creperie. Phil navigated around the street repairs and parked on the side street.
We were welcomed back with a delightful amusee of pizza like strips....crust, tomato sauce, mozzarella and a splash of balsamic vinegar for zest!
Phil's buckwheat flour crepe had ham, egg, bacon and Swiss cheese.
I had a cup of Vervien tea and a simple crepe with butter and sugar which revived my appetite.
I was able to enjoy the La Breizh Gourmande dessert...so glad I saved room. It was a crepe with salted butter caramel ice cream. chantilly drizzled with caramel, crunchy cookie bits, speculos, and surrounded with warm banana slices.
Phil had the most delicious classic Dame Blanche-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, home made chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream.
