Just checked into Le villa after spending 2 nights at VSJ. The wifi situation here seems to be much better. It looks like I can post photos directly without converting them.

Seaweed report:

St Jean: Pristine

Flamands: Pristine

Saline: A tiny bit in the water and some old dry stuff on the sand. Pretty typical for an ocean beach. If you didn't know there was a seaweed crisis, you would have thought nothing of it.

Gouverneur: Check please! The high tide line was covered in maybe a foot high pile of fresh seaweed. The water was also full of thick rafts of it.
