Opting out of companies tracking your online behavior

There is a pretty nice website where one can opt out of many of the tracking tools used by various companies that then sell your information to others as well as use it themselves. The opt out can be done on both your computer and other devices, including your smart phone.

    Here is the site

Also, if you hit the little arrow on the top right hand corner of the ad, it will take you to the opt out screen for all the companies that are showing ads

On computer browsers, install Ghostery add-on. It's a great tool to block all unwanted trackers. Internet is pretty amazing when you have both Ghostery and AdBlock running
