Tomorrow, May 6, it's that time of year again, time for the semi-annual Sales - Les Soldes - on St Barth. There are many ads in Le News for Les Soldes d'Hiver. Here's one:





Les Soldes d'Été, The Summer Sales, will begin on Saturday, October 14.

We are curious- how good are the sales usually and is there an opportunity to purchase from these stores on line and receive sales prices? Our experience has been generally the island doesn't 'do' on line sales except for maybe Free in St. Barth, L'Avion, Pati and several others.

Hopper, I purchased from Laurent Effel, by phone, during the soldes a few years ago. I was given the sales price and the product was held for me until my visit 2 months later. I'm sure they would have shipped, but that would've defeated the purpose of the soldes, in my opinion.

we generally are there in early November and have"just missed" the sales a few times. we are flexible as to dates ,can anyone tell us the dates of the sales this coming November??

It's easier to find the starting dates than the ending dates. Five, maybe six weeks.
