MarineTraffic.com shows that Excellence V is now moored out towards Colombier, and that there is only one boat left on the quay. St Maarten has issued a Small Craft Advisory warning of 8-foot to 11-foot seas. http://www.meteosxm.com/weather/forecast/

And the supermarkets were getting low on supplies this week due to the boat(s) not resupplying. Lots of empty shelves at Marche U.

I've seen that before at Marché U, less so at the other markets. Typically it is most noticeable in the dairy aisle.

must be the southern end of the big storms up north... in NYC we are getting ready for a blizzard, the shelves might be a bit bare by tomorrow night here as well...

Seems the earth is moving.earthquakes on St Kitts and landslide yesterday on Saba and something reported at 8:20 tonite here. Hmmm...wild weather and events for sure.
