Can't say I noticed any change in the condition of the reef, but my diving is done within the confines of the protected area, and perhaps that area is more stable. It looks pretty healthy to me but I'm no authority on the subject.
 
Asking because the island is doing a lot to reseed the reef and make folks aware of the importance of coral.

Nice to see so many different fish..has to be a sign that it is returning and gaining its health and growing stronger.
 
Looks like a productive dive, Jim. The photos are excellent. Do you, like I, reach out and touch the "Christmas Tree fans" just to see them recoil? :D
 
I should clarify: I don't actually "touch" the fans. By the time my finger gets that close they've already recoiled. I guess after having seen that the first time, the kid in me just can't stay hidden. :wink2:
