If ever there were a case of de gustibus non est disputandum, this would be it, but nevertheless I'm going to ask.

We'll be on the island in a week and have reservations for dinner at the following restaurants:

Côté Port

L'Esprit

Maya's

Tamarin

Santa Fé

Meat & Potatoes

I'd be interested in hearing about your favorite appetizers and/or main courses at any (one, or more, or all) of these restaurants.

Thanks.

Dan

If Côté Port is running a Charolais Beef special, it's worth trying. Otherwise, Salade Pilou, salad with melted goat cheese, grilled shrimp, and warm bacon dressing - get the small size unless you have a big appetite.

We used to get the gazpacho at Santa Fe "all the time" when Manu was at the helm--served in an enormous martini glass and delicious on a warm day. Hope it is still on the menu in July. And Cote Port had a lovely steak with a Roquefort sauce last year, but I don't remember the exact name. Fabulous!!
