Heard from a neighbor that a mangy fox was found dead in their driveway a few weeks ago.

These two healthy ones got tied up for close to an hour!

That's nice and all, but yesterday was National Bird Day and I was expecting something with feathers not fur. Therefore I give you the beautiful White crowned sparrow taking some time off for a break.

No bird shots today, but I wanted to show the victorious fox. Pounced, missed, chased, caught and killed one of the squirrels feasting on scattered bird seed.. Nature in action!

Nice! The bird feeder feeds many animals.

Keep an eye out for hawks darting through, especially when you see the bird scatter for no obvious reason. Some birds use the feeder to feast on seed, others use the feeder to feast on birds. It's a cold hard world out there.
