Five of us arrived about 10:30, just as the brunch was closing. The staff very kindly offered to keep the buffet open, but we simply shared a plate of croissants, breads, some fruit, & a few tasty chocolate cookies . . . with coffees & tea. It was very pleasant.
One of my companions was the architect (landscape as well as building design) who is responsible for creation of the Hotel gardens . . . he has several other notable projects underway & on the drawing boards, including renovations at Carl Gustav, a significant new villa in Gustavia, and reconditioning of a Villa in Grand Fond. A very talented young man, teeming with ardent enthusiasm and an eager spirit that often marks young people headed to success, it's clear that he has found a vein of "mainstream" appeal.
