THE BLACK WIDOW by Daniel Silva

This may be Silva’s best yet. A beautiful Israeli doctor is recruited by “The Office” (Israel’s name for its equivalent of the CIA) to infiltrate ISIS in order to predict and then thwart its next mass killing, this one to take place in Washington, D.C. She meets Saladin, the leader of ISIS, and has the opportunity to kill him, but she declines to do so. What happens as a result of her failure to eliminate Saladin comprises the rest of the story. Great characters, plot and pacing. If you like Daniel Silva, you will love this book.
