Reopened today. The menu has changed since last year. Looks like Eddy is running both Lunch and Dinner. The menus for each while a little different are not like the old. They have hamburger if you ask but it's no longer on the menus for lunch. We had the Mahi Mahi in Cajun Spice and the Tuna TarTare both prepared nicely, along with a nice bottle of Rosè. Great service and about half the tables were occupied.
 
We drove by and thought we spotted you! We can talk later...can't wait to hear about the menu changes..
 
How was the service- as it has been slow in the past?

Undermanned restaurant staffing is a nearly universal problem in French restaurants. Presumably due to French labor laws. But, there's an easy solution. Always reserve and always arrive before the crowds. Works every time.

Agree we always do and always have excellent service.
 
Service was excellent! I had the creole chicken salad and Rick had the tuna noodle salad. Both were delicious.

How do labor laws affect the staffing of a business?
 
A little closer to that island is the fact that every person has an annual contract with salary and benefits. Sometimes housing is part of the contract.
