? feedback on Villa Yoh near Marigot

I haven't been in the house, but the website says a lot. Nightly rates are very reasonable . . . and a good discount (about 14%) for a weekly rental. Kitchen is very nice, and the rest of the house appears to be very comfortable. It's said to be a "5 minute walk" to a grocery store . . . which makes me think that it must be near the Mono Shop in the little commercial area of Marigot. It has a "mountain view." I think that you would want to clarify which rooms have air conditioning. Also, if you think you might want to watch television, you probably should inquire whether the house has "American" or French satellite service.

We suggest you do a little more research as the island is small. Do you know others who frequent the island? Hate to see you book something sight unseen with a couple of photos.
The photos look wonderful but the availability of dates makes us suspicious as to why it is not totally booked during much of 'prime time.'?

WE assume you have looked at this?

What is your rationale to suggest a $1,764/night alternative to the $239/night original Villa Yoh, Hopper?

I think that Hopper must have thought that $1,764 was a weekly rate. (That would be a DEAL!)
