Hello All!
This has gotten out of control..
I assumed (dumb me) that their would be a ferry or flight from Tortola to St. Barths.
can I charter a boat? I ham h
I am having a difficult time figuring this out.
Thanks for any help! Katy

We did this in reverse last year with LIAT. EIS - SXM, SXM - SBH. You can charter a boat if you want a bit of adventure. The BVI has more boats and captains than anyplace I know.

A number of years ago we chartered from St. Thomas to St. Bart on St. Barth Commuter and did so again a year or so after due to positioning of a boat we were departing. You may want to check with SBH Commuter. It was not a crazy price. kr

Unless you can wait for or luck into the right conditions, you will likely find out why the stretch of water from the BVI to St Barth (about 90 nm distance) often gets called the Oh-My-God-a Passage as a play on its real name (Anegada Passage)... the trip from BVI to SBH is against prevailing winds and current; the opposite trip is often a more pleasant experience but 3-5 ft seas and no squalls can be a good day... Anegada Passage Marine Forecast

Tradewind runs some flights between STT and SBH but I am not sure these are daily... Josh has suggestions above based on his trip... Terrance at AirSXM might help check out options too.

Doesn't Tradwind now fly from STT direct to SBH?

Yes.

Well, you've signed up for a bit of an adventure, but it's all possible, given enough time. Hopefully it's possible in a way that fits your schedule.

Liat can get you from EIS (Beef Island) to SXM (St Maarten Dutch Side).
Winair or St Barth Commuter can get you from SXM to SBH.
St Barth Commuter can get you from SFG (French Side) to SBH.
Voyager and Great Bay Ferries can get you from St Martin (French Side, Voyager, sometimes Marigot, sometimes Oyster Pond) or St Maarten (Dutch Side, Great Bay, Phillipsburg) to SBH.

Going from SBH to STT is a bit different.
You can go back to SXM using one of the options above, and Liat can get you to STT.
You can book a Shared Charter on Tradewind Aviation from SBH to STT.

Another option, if the cost is not a concern, is that St Barth Commuter will fly a private charter between EIS and SBH, and between SBH and STT. There may be other charter options too.
