Shirley Dern, manager of Yosushimania, and music director of Anglican Church of Gustavia has just passed away from cerebrovascular accident. She was 41. May she rest in peace.

This is one of the saddest things I have ever dealt with in my life.I haven't posted anything,because it's too personal
But the island is shocked and in mourning

It is very sad and unreal, especially considering that we got a wonderful sushi delivered by Shirley only last Tuesday. As they say in Facebook announcement, "life is not fair", absolutely not fair.
