Restaurant Report -- March 4 - 18, 2014

Fourteen Restaurant Lunches. Eleven Restaurant Dinners. Four Villa Dinners.

Lunches: Le Carre, Gloriette, Cote Port, Grain de Sel, Nikki Beach, La Plage, Wall House, Do Brazil, Manapany, Sandbar, L'Esprit, Mango, Taiwana, Gloriette (Again)

Dinners: Marmalade (San Juan), Le Repaire, Taiwana, L'Isola, Santa Fe, Maya's, La Gaiac, Pipiri Palace, Hideaway, L'Isola (again), Les Bananiers

We had some great food. Most of the meals we had were delicious and well prepared. I can't think of a single meal or dish that was just bad. It's been fun to go through my notes and bring back these delicious memories. Hope you enjoy them.

Best Mahi-Mahi -- Gloriette
Runner-up -- Cote Port

Best Main Course -- Grilled Whole Brazino (L'Isola)
Runner-up -- Sweetbreads (Les Bananiers)

Best Dessert -- Caramelized Apple Tarte (Le Repaire)
Runner-up -- Millionaire Ice Cream (Marmalade)

It's early in the eve ning.

We're a ()hop skip and a jump from disaster.

Now for the real question- How much weight did you lose or gain with this epicurean adventure?

Sorry for the delay in response, Hopper. Actually was surprised. Over the two weeks I added only three or four pounds and that went away after a week or so back home. No harm; no foul!
