Ferry

Hi All,

I am traveling to St Barts in a few weeks and need to know what ferry I should take from St Martin to St Barts. I will be coming from the St Martin Airport so I am looking for the best ferry to take...closest to the airport, etc? I am too nervous to take the plane so that is not an option for me.

There are two airports and two ferries. If you're flying in on a big plane from the US then you'll be arriving at the St Maarten airport, airport code SXM. If you're flying in on a small inter-island plane then you may be arriving at the St Martin airport, SFG. Chances are you're arriving at SXM.

The biggest ferry is Voyager, http://www.voy12.com/ Depending on the date/time, the ferry could be leaving from Marigot or Oyster Pond on the French side of St Martin.
The other ferry is Great Bay Express, http://www.sbhferry.com/Great-bay-express.html Great Bay Express departs from Bobby's Marina in Phillipsburg on the Dutch side of St Maarten.

My preference, if forced to take a ferry, would be to take Voyager, but the closest ferry to SXM is probably Great Bay Express.
