March 23, 2014, Lunch at La Plage

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to have lunch with feet in the sand at La Plage. There was a gentle breeze that made it quite comfortable even though it was pretty warm yesterday.

Amy had the large Fried Shrimp which were served butterflied with a shredded slaw salad.



I enjoyed the app size Fried Shrimp which were delicious and reminded me of the Coconut Shrimp dish we get at home.



The food was excellent, the music was great, and the fashion show was pretty cool also.

I like La Plage but I count 2 whole shrimp in amy's dish. That was lunch??

A bit more about my delicious dish-actually they were large sections of grilled fresh water shrimp from Guadeloupe with a sweet chili sauce over a bed of baked sliced of sweet potatoes with a julienne of tangy vegetables for the topping.

A darn good lunch.
