March 19, 2014, Lunch at Sand Bar

Met up with Henry, AKA SOYABEANS, and Carole at the Sand Bar for lunch. We began with this shared Margarita pizza prepared in a brick oven. We nibbled and enjoyed the chilled Whispering Angel that had been poured.

Phil loved the home made bread used to contain this delicious house roasted turkey sandwich with bacon and tomato and an arugala flavored mayonnaise

Henry had the mahi mahi sandwich with chipotle mayonnaise. All sandwiches came with yummy frites.

Carole and I both opted for the J.G. Cobb salad with chicken breast, bacon and avocado and a zesty Pecorino dressing

We teamed up to share our very own bucket of frites and shared fond thoughts of Missy!

I ate the Mahi Burger the day after my Nikki Beach/Gaiac/anniversary debacle, and it does indeed cure a severe hangover. Combined with the homemade ginger ale.
 
Oh, be still my heart. THREE buckets of frites? My idea of the PERFECT lunch! Thanks, my dear Yankee Soul Siblings...all four of y'all!
