Another outstanding dinner at L'Isola

After two weeks of fish (and a little beef) it is time for our annual visit to L'Isola. It never disappoints from the Negroni right through to the espresso!

We are also stuck on the same items - prosciutto and melon, followed by veal ravioli for me and veal scaloppini for her.

These folks are serious about their food. Oh, Super Tuscan by the glass too!

Splendid choices..we also enjoy the food and the change of vibe.

We can practically fall into L'Isola from our villa, so we enjoyed it last trip...will probably do it again next year. Sounds like you had a nice meal. What's not to like about excellent Italian food and vino?

The Italian food and wine can't be beat. We found the service to be very slow even though we were not in a hurry. They were of course busy but it seems like the servers may not have been happy that night?
