Not a fan of his but he must be a good guy..Wrote this beautiful song for a girl he was very close to on St John..Such a pretty young girl living the dream on STJ and suddenly her life was taken..

I am becoming a bigger and bigger fan of his music.....the new album Life on a Rock is really good too and so is that song

Half the people I know bummed around St John in their early years...Looking at this vid brought back vivid memories...I did it in my early 20's...best time of my life...Still have strong connections to that group I hung with 25 years later....The friday night Fish Fry at the baseball field,wicked Soca bands and questionable decisions...I would do it again in heartbeat.

thats how I feel about my two years living in the USVI....in my late 20s.....wonderful times....

I agree Mike. The new album is really good. I also like Welcome To The Fishbowl which was recorded at Eden Rock.

Sad story..... good song, wonderful tribute.

we have a new tradition now...when we are cruising out of Gustavia towards Colombier on the boat I have to hear "Keys in the Conch Shell "..

"Boats" and "Soul of a Sailor" give me goosebumps....so relevant to my life
