    Photo Size?

Why are the photos in Jeff's trip report thumbnails instead of their normal full size?

Here is something that is not hard and can be nice for posting a trip report or a review.

In your post click on the "go advanced" reply option. Screen shot 2013-01-10 at 7.33.46 AM.png
then click on the little "table" icon.

A little window pops up and asks you how many rows and columns you would like your table to be.

This post is 2 columns with 6 rows. It also asks what width you want the table to be. 700 is a good width for viewing.

Then you click in any of the boxes in your table and either type your message or add an image.

Like this cool photo I took somewhere in Chicago.

or this photo of kelly :) bw-kb-piggy.jpg

If you want to add more rows to your table after you've already started your post you can click the "insert rows after" icon
and tell it how many more rows to add.

    Awesome view from villa MAX

Tip. When prompted to input your table rows one of the fields is for table width. input 100%
    including the % symbol. 100%

you do not have to use a table to post images.. it's just an option for formatting.

You can add or remove rows as you go along.
But if you have five images then maybe you want five rows.
If you decide to add a few more just add more rows.

Your eager to learn Andy. What's better than that

Tabels look fine but what is the answer to the original question?

If I add photo to my post, I get just the thumbnail and people need to click to see the full-size version.

Did you just make a post that had a thumbnail created?
This setting should be turned off now.

Try it again and let me know if it still happens.

    JB,

I checked the photos in Jeff's report, and they are now full size. It appears that you've solved the problem. Thank you.

JB, just wanted to let you know the new system for posting pictures works great. I used to use Flickr, which did a great job of sizing the pictures and providing a URL for each one. The new system saves that step and I find it very easy to use.

I agree with Phil. The upload speed is greatly improved, a very important feature for those of us in St. B with slow conncections.
