Let us acknowledge those dedicated to treating our Veterans after their noble service, too--- often, it's for the rest of their lives.
Some of you may have met her on twice a year visits to our island for "re-charge" from primary care .
Recently honored with the highest national "Heart and Hands" award by the Veterans Adminsitration for exemplary patient care.
Surprised to be paged from her clinic by the Director.
Award Ceremony---then right back with staff to her patients.
