but first...tonight....

I did a classic Portuguese dish....pasta...fresh dug clams...sausage....in a very garlicky, olive oil, butter, white wine sauce - with hot red pepper flakes....

the flavors work so well together....

and yes I know its on a paper plate...I am alone and dont feel like doing dishes, and I can assure you there are far inferior meals being served on fine china in many homes tonight!

yeah I can...we are awash in linguica and chorizo here with the Portuguese population....they are actually making turkey linguica and chorizo that aint bad and much lower in fat....but I just happen to really be a fan of this particular chicken sausage
