Super Saturday Moon

I know where to go for sunset on St Bart. I will be on St. Bart this weekend. Quickie, 4 day trip. Does anyone know where to go for moonrise?

I have two camera bodies, tripod four lenses and a planned trip to the National Mall for backdrop and now the clouds roll in. Boo!

I saw last night's version peeping through the clouds in central Virginia, and it was spectacular.

St Jean will work too.....

Incredible blue and gray clouds with some moon peeking through. Can't get a good pic. Yes, Voosh has his limits - I ain't no photo guru.

Waiting now for a clear view through the trees ...

I'm done. If that's a "supermoon" blasting out, I'm on the wrong planet. It's a diddly, tiny thingie that obscures star watching. Clouds are in the way, too. Unimpressive. That's my view from here.

Yep. Nice pic.

Dawg and I didn't see diddly in the woods. Kathy went out and didn't see anything worth reporting, either.

C'est la vie. La bella luna. ;)
