Raspberries are a little tart but a lttle sugar sprinkled on top and let them sit for a while and they are wonderful. BTW- these grew on rocks not in the woods.
 
The wild ones are a little tart and don't need sugar with Ice Cream or Whipped cream but by themselves a little sugar helps
 
Yeah, probably slightly different species from what we usually eat here.

We always eat them as-is, without any ice cream or sweets. I can't tell the difference between wild ones or the ones from the market places. The imports in the supermarket are different story, often different shape too.

raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries grow like weeds on our property...most of them are on the tart side, but thats ok with us
