Dear Friends,
In the advent of long, warm summer days, I would hope you would join us for our new $40.00 Four (4) Course "Summer Celebration Menu". In appreciation I would like to offer you a complimentary sommelier selected Glass of Wine to pair with one of your menu choices. This menu is offered Monday thru Friday from 5:00-6:00 in Le Bec-Fin's Main Dining Room, and all evening in Le Bar Lyonnais. The change of the season is reflected in the ingredients "du Moment", which we have chosen for this new menu. We retain the quality of product with which I have been proud and continue to be, serving over the past forty-one years.
Seasonal Change is also afoot at the "Bar Lyonnais" which after undergoing a complete renovation in concept and design, will reopen in late summer 2011. I will be most happy to share more details with you soon.
In the meantime, I hope to see you at our monthly events. The second Wednesday of every month we host "Wine and Cheese Tastings" in conjunction with Di Bruno Brothers for $35 for 6 cheeses and 3 wines. The last Wednesday of each month we offer wine dinners. Our themes for the summer wine dinners are; July "Mixed French Wines" and August will be "Sparkling Wines". My Executive Chef and partner Nicolas Elmi will pair the perfect course for each wine.
Our next "Hot Chef Dinner of the Summer Series" will take place Monday July 13th and I am proud to be sharing my kitchen with Chef Marc Vetri of legendary Vetri, Osteria and Amis. Chef Elmi has been working collectively with the visiting chefs to prepare the best possible meal for your enjoyment. Future guest Chef will be "Top Chef" Kevin Spraga on August 15th, 2011.
Also, save space on your calendar for "Bastille Day", Thursday July 14th, a street party Festival where Champagne and wine will be "coulera à flots" (Flowing like a river!)
