Never for a martini, but for a Negroni -- perfect!

Just bought a bottle today for one of Lisa's cocktails.

I also picked up some brandied cherries. So I'll take Manhattans for $1000, Alex.

Randy had a rocking cocktail called "gin and juice" at the Red Rooster in Harlem on Sunday. Hendricks, orange bitters, citrus juices and marmalade. I was allowed one sip...yummy!

Yeah Mike, we got the Snoop reference....the restaurant was in Harlem after all.

I don't think he was referencing this kind of bespoke cocktail though.

Yeah, we use classic Beefeater's for Negronis and Old Raj for Martinis. The real question is are you a Negroni shaken-and-up guy or a simply-poured-and-on-a-couple-of-rocks guy?
We had always been shaken-and-up people but after a recent trip to Cassis we've taken to enjoying them in the style of its double first cousin the Americano, ie poured in a smart-looking tumbler with a couple of rocks.

Last night’s version. I enjoy using Punt e Mes instead of traditional Sweet Vermouth. Gives it a little spicier kick.
